Who am I?

I’m an Occupational Therapist who brings a wide, real‑world lens to professional growth. My career hasn’t followed a straight line — and I believe this is one of my unique strengths. Alongside my clinical and operational work, I’ve served a term on the OTNZ‑WNA Council, gaining a deeper understanding of our profession at a national level and the challenges and opportunities shaping practice in Aotearoa/New Zealand.

Before I pivoted to working in health, I was a banker, co‑owned and operated a family business for over a decade and worked as a teacher aide supporting young people with diverse needs.

These experiences shaped the way I practise today. They taught me how people and systems work, how to navigate complexity, how to stay grounded under pressure, and how to build relationships that are both human and effective.

I completed the NZ Coaching & Mentoring Supervision Skills for Health & Social Service Professionals course in 2018.  As a supervisor, I draw on all of it — clinical practice, operational leadership, business acumen, governance experience, and the lived understanding that careers evolve, identities shift, and growth is rarely linear.

Whether you're early in your career or stepping into leadership, I offer a space to explore challenges, celebrate wins, and build confidence.  I can offer support that is reflective, practical, and future‑focused, where you can explore who you are, where you’re going, and what you need to thrive.
